About our Google OAuth scope

We request the business.manage OAuth scope because Google Business Profile API does not offer a reviews-only or read-only scope. Our application strictly limits its usage to reading reviews only. No write operations, no profile edits, and no automatic replies are performed. This is enforced at the application layer with explicit guardrails.

How data is processed

  1. User connects Google Business Profile via OAuth
  2. Review data is retrieved via the official Google Business Profile API
  3. Application servers are hosted in the European Union (Denmark and Ireland)
  4. AI generates draft responses for human review
  5. No automatic publishing — all replies require explicit user approval
  6. User manually reviews and publishes replies at their discretion

Scope justification

The Google Business Profile scope (business.manage) is required to retrieve review data and generate structured analytics and draft responses. The system does not automatically publish replies or modify business profile data.
